Über das Projekt
Entstanden aus einer Hausbesetzung 2001, ist die Reil78 seit dem ein subversiver Ort für Musik, Kunst, Sport, Bildung, politischen Diskurs, sozialer Begegnung und für selbstorganiserte unkommerzielle Veranstaltungen. Das Projekt organisiert sich basisdemokratisch auf einem Hausplenum. Jede Person die sich beteiligen möchte, kann mit ihren Ideen zum Hausplenum kommen. Vieles ist möglich, solange der Projektkonsens respektiert wird.

Since its origins in a squatting in 2001, the reil78 is a subversive space for music, art, sports, education, political discourse, social encounters and events. The project is organized through a directly democratic plenary assembly (“Hausplenum”), discussing everything regarding itself. Anyone interested in participating can come forward with their ideas at this assembly. Many things are possible, as long as the project-consensus is respected.

Offenes Hausplenum
Das Hausplenum trifft sich jeden Montag ab 19.30 Uhr und ist ein offenes, basisdemokratisches Plenum, zu dem alle Menschen herzlich eingeladen sind, die sich für die Belange des Hausprojekts interessieren.
Wenn du Lust hast, dich im Haus einzubringen, du Fragen hast oder einfach mal mitbekommen willst, wie Basisdemokratie in einem so großen Projekt mit vielen unterschiedlichen Meinungen und Positionen aussieht, komm doch gern nächsten Montag vorbei. 🙂

If you want to get involved with the project, have question or simply want to know how managing such a project with many different opinions and positions in a democratic manor works, feel free to just come around next Monday 🙂

Offenes Veranstaltungsplenum
Jeden Montag um 19:00 Uhr können hier Einzelpersonen, externe Gruppen und Bands anfragen, wenn sie bei uns eine Veranstaltung (Konzert, Vortrag, Workshop etc.) planen wollen. Die Rahmenbedingungen für Musikveranstaltungen (Technikverleih u.a.) findet ihr auf unserer Homepage. Während dieses Plenums werden Termine abgestimmt und geschaut, wer welche Aufgabe bei der Veranstaltung übernehmen kann. Wenn ihr für eine Veranstaltung einen Raum sucht, kommt gern vorbei und wir besprechen die Details.

Every monday at 7 pm individual persons, external groups or bands have the possibility to come around, if they wish to plan some sort of event at our location (concerts, presentations, workshops, etc.) You can find the conditions for musical events (rental of equipment, among other things) on our website. During this plenum it’s agreed upon which dates will work and who will take what tasks and responsibilities during the proposed event. If you wish to plan an event, feel free to come around and we’ll discuss the details.

KÜFA – Küche für Alle
Ihr wollt gern vegan mitkochen und Gerichte planen oder ab und zu sonntags mitschnibbeln? Kommt gerne um 17.00 Uhr zum Kochen oder fragt nach, die Küfa Crew freut sich immer über neue Leute. Ab ca. 19.00 Uhr gibt´s dann das vegane Essen gegen eine kleine Spende, verbunden mit der Möglichkeit, den Sonntag abend bei einem Getränk am Tresen ausklingen zu lassen. Es ist immer seeehr lecker 🙂

You’re interested in cooking vegan meals, planing what to cook next time or simply want to help out where you can? Feel free to come around at 5pm and simply ask the Kitchen crew, as they’re always happy to welcome new people. From roughly 7 pm on the food is available for everyone in exchange for a small donation, combined with the option to then enjoy the rest of the evening at the Bar. It’s always very delicious. 🙂

Was gibts in der Reile?
In der Reile gibt es viel Raum für alles Mögliche. Wir haben zum Beispiel einen Sportraum, die Möglichkeit Filme zu zeigen, Räume für Seminare, eine große, schöne Küche zum gemeinsamen Kochen, Band-Proberäume und natürlich eine Menge Platz für Veranstaltungen inklusive einem Tresen. Außerdem gibt´s den wunderbaren Garten mit vielen Wänden für Graffiti. Wenn ihr einen Raum für Vorträge, Theatervorführungen, Plena oder Konzerte sucht, kommt am besten einfach am Montag zum Plenum ab 19.00 Uhr.
what does R78 provide?
The project provides a lot of space for all sorts of things, for example a room for sports, the option to show films, spaces for seminars, a big and nice kitchen, rehearsal rooms for bands and of course a lot of space for events, including a bar. There’s also the garden with many walls for graffiti. If you’re looking for a space for a presentation, a theater play, plenum or concert, simply come around on Monday at 7pm to discuss the details in theopen event organizing plenum.

Projekt Konsens & Support Crew
Zusammen mit euch wollen wir die Reil78 zu einem möglichst diskriminierungsfreien Ort machen. Rassistisches, antisemitisches, sexistisches, homo- und transfeindliches und andere Formen von diskriminierendem, grenzüberschreitenden und gewalttätigen Verhalten werden nicht geduldet und können zum Rauswurf und Auschluss führen.
Wenn dir als Besucher*in konkrete Situationen auffallen, in denen der Projekt-Konsens missachtet wird, dann mach wenn du möchtest selbst darauf aufmerksam oder wende dich an Personen am Einlass/Bar etc. . Zusätzlich haben wir eine E-Mail an die du dich in solchen Fällen wenden kannst (siehe nächster Slide über die Support Crew) oder du kommst am Montag 19.30 Uhr zum Hausplenum. Wenn es bei einer Veranstaltung ein Awareness Team geben sollte, wird darauf in den Informationen zur jeweiligen Veranstaltung hingewiesen.
Du hast bereits einmal auf dem Gelände eine übergriffige, gewaltvolle oder sonst wie beschissene Situation erlebt und möchtest nachträglich darüber sprechen/dein Erlebnis schildern/Konsequenzen einfordern? Wir möchten dir die Möglichkeit geben (auch erstmal anonym) mit uns in Kontakt zu treten. Natürlich kannst du Montags 19:30 Uhr zum offenen Hausplenum kommen. Aber manchmal fällt das nicht so leicht. Als Hausplenum der Reil78 ist es unser Wunsch, eine kollektive Verantwortungsübernahme anzustoßen.

project consensus & support crew
As a joint effort with you, we aim to make sure the reil78 is a space free of discrimination. Racist, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic or transphobic as well as any other form of discriminating, inappropriate or violent beha-vior will not be tolerated and can lead to expulsion.
If you, as visitor, notice any violation of the project, feel free to make the person aware of their misbehavior or inform someone at the entry, bar, etc. . Additionally we also provide an email to report such cases (see next slide about support crew) as well as the option to turn to the project organisation plenum, every Monday at 7:30pm. If there is an aware-ness team at an event, this will be indicated in the information about that event.
If you’ve already experienced some sort of encroaching, violent or otherwise fucked up situation and wish to talk about it in retrospect, explain your experiences or demand consequences, we provide you with the option to (in the first steps anonymously) get in touch with us. Of course you can also still simply turn to the Hausplenum every Monday at 7:30pm. Sometimes this step isn’t quite easy though, which is why it is our wish, as reil78 Hausplenum, to initiate collective responsibility.

Barrierefreiheit
Aus baulichen Gründen sind unsere Veranstaltungen derzeit leider nicht barrierefrei, da unter anderem grelle Lichter sowie laute Geräusche nicht vermieden werden können und alle Innenräume nur über Treppen zu erreichen sind. Zur Barrierefreiheit bei Open Air Veranstaltungen wird im EInzelfall informiert.
