Theaterpädagogische Fortbildung „Theater als Mittel für gesellschaftliche Mitbestimmung“

4. bis 6. Oktober 2013, 10:00 bis 18:00 Uhr

In der dreitägigen Fortbildung „Theater als Mittel für gesellschaftliche Mitbestimmung“ stellen die beiden Theatermacher_innen Sima und Sanjoy Ganguly (Kalkutta/ Indien) Methoden und Werkzeuge des Theaters der Unterdrückten vor. Die beiden Theatermacher_innen sind Gründungsmitglieder der Bewegung „Jana Sanskriti“* und blicken auf 28 Jahre Theatererfahrung zurück. Im Mittelpunkt des Workshops stehen die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten und Potentiale des Forum- und Bildertheaters für eine gesellschaftliche Mitbestimmung.

Wie können die Erfahrungen von „Jana Sanskriti“ auf unsere Gesellschaftsstrukturen übertragen werden? Was sind Anwendungsbereiche und wie können sie erweitert werden? Wo liegen die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des Forumtheaters, in Hinblick auf gesellschaftliche Teilhabe und Mitbestimmung?

Die Fortbildung richtet sich vorrangig an Theaterpraktiker_innen, Pädagog_Innen, Aktivist_Innen und andere Interessierte, die die Methoden, Werkzeuge und Möglichkeiten des „Forumtheater“ kennenlernen wollen oder bereits in ihrer Arbeit, bzw. ihren politischen Aktivitäten einsetzen.

Workshop of Theatre-Pedagogics

„Theatre as an Instrument of Codetermination in a Society“

Friday the 04th – Sunday the 06th of October 2013 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Location: Reilstraße 78, 06114 Halle (Saale)

During the three days of this Workshop methods and tools of „Theatre of the Oppressed“ are being introduced by Sima and Sanjoy Ganguly, two theatre-activists from Kolkata (India). As founding members of the theatre-movement „Jana Sanskriti“ they are looking back at 28 years of theatre-experience. The Workshop is focussing on practical and potential applications of „Forum Theatre“ and „Picture Theatre“ as an instrument of codetermination in a society.

How can experiences and strategies of „Jana Sanskriti’s“ work in India be transferred and applied to our structures of society? Which possible fields of application are there and how can they be extended? What are the possibilities and limitations of „Forum Theatre“ regarding participation and codetermination in a society?

The Workshop is aiming at theatre-practitioners, teachers, educationalists, activists and other people interested in learning about the methods, tools and possibilities of „Forum Theatre“ or who are already using it for their work or political activities.
